Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Foundly ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website, enquire about our services or become a client. We are the data controller for the information described below, and we handle it in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions, email us at hello@gofoundly.com.

Information we collect

We collect:

  • Details you give us — your name, business name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us when you book a call, request an audit, start a trial or contact us.
  • Client account data — information needed to deliver the service, such as your business details, services, photos you upload and access to your Google Business Profile as a manager.
  • Payment data — subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
  • Usage and device data — pages visited, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide the free audit;
  • set up and deliver our Google Business Profile management service;
  • take payment and manage your subscription;
  • send service updates, reports and, where you have opted in, marketing;
  • measure and improve our website and our advertising.

Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (to deliver the service), our legitimate interests (to run and promote our business), your consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing) and legal obligation (for accounting and tax records).

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and, with your consent, for analytics and advertising. This includes Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our ad campaigns. These tools may set cookies that allow Google and Meta to show you our ads on other websites and platforms (remarketing). You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, Meta ad preferences, and by managing cookies in your browser.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, and only as far as needed. These include payment processing (Stripe), website and email hosting, analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta), our scheduling and CRM tools, and the software platforms we use to deliver profile management. We may also disclose data where required by law. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months, client data for the life of the contract and for up to 6 years afterwards to meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and request portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@gofoundly.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
